So...

In my FAQs last post I had written I'm not really feeling any different in regards to this new and improved diet we have been eating.

Well... today I decided I feel differently.

Remember my Wendy's story? Well last night it was Pizza Hut...I know, I know! I just couldn't pass up greasy, cheesy, gluteny goodness crap. In all seriousness it was the cheese that got me... but that's not my point. My point it, I DID NOT have another experience like Wendy's (shocking, I know!) however I came home from indulging myself in pizza, and watching the terrible yet wonderful finale of the bachelor and I FELT AWFUL! (and no, it had nothing to do with Juan Pablo.) Part of it had to do with emotions I was feeling in regards to actually eating pizza (which is a whole other topic for another time!) but most of it had to do with, I just felt BAD! Realizing that tomato sauce is indeed NOT a vegetable although may resemble one in color, cheese although good source of protein but high in fat espeically when soaked in grease for pepperoni and that chewy yummy oh so disgusting crust doused in butter, let's face it... Pizza does NOTHING for your body, we eat it for our minds. Our minds tell us pizza is yummy, IT IS yummy but, as I experienced last night it leaves you feeling worse than when you started off hungry.

With all this said... I'm ready for this to get easier! I'm seeing that there is indeed a difference in food. There's food that makes you feel good, energized and healthy and then there's food that makes you feel sluggish, guilty and disgusting. When is it going to get easier to say YES to good feeling food, and NO to bad feeling food?

I"m off to go eat some celery now... (kidding, I HATE celery ;)
